This month, we’re introducing two important platform updates designed to bring more clarity and speed to every job: unified job-tied messaging and in-platform timecards.
Together, these changes help make the journey from match to execution smooth like butter.
Get Answers Faster, With Everyone in the Same Conversation
With our new unified messaging system, every accepted job now has its own dedicated chat thread inside YellowBird.
That means the company, the matched safety professional, and YellowBird support can all communicate in real time, directly within the job record.
For companies, this creates a clearer record of what was said and shared as it relates to the job or service. For YellowBird Professionals, it provides a centralized place to ask questions, receive updates, and keep track of job-specific details. And for our YellowBird Customer Success team, it means faster answers and better visibility when help is needed.
All YellowBird users can now also upload documents directly in the job chat, not just the job record. This makes important job documentation easier to find, and reduces back-and-forth. It’s super easy to search the entire message history by keyword and jump directly to the relevant message in the chain.
Bonus: We’ve also added read receipts!
Hours Worked? Hours Approved!
The second major update in this release is in-platform timecards.
Until now, YellowBird Professionals who completed hourly jobs with us submitted hours to YellowBird outside the platform. That created extra steps for everyone. Now, YellowBird Professionals can submit hours worked right from their dashboard.
Once submitted, hours are tied to the job record and immediately available for the organization to review and approve with a few clicks. Less work all around. Whew!
